We currently run two pumpers, one pumper/tanker, one ladder truck, and one brush truck. Desoto County Emergency Medical Services runs an ambulance out of our station that covers parts of the City of Horn Lake and parts of unincorporated Desoto County along with the Town of Walls. We also have a Dodge Durango that is driven by the on-duty Captain and the Deputy Chief is assigned a vehicle as well. Our station is a 5-bay station located on the south end of the Town of Walls. We have seperate male/female sleeping quarters, ambulance crew sleeping quarters, lounge, living room with big screen TV, chiefs' offices, fax/report office, kitchen, and shower facilities. The station also has some training rooms used for hose advance training and search and rescue training. Lockers are are provided for members who wish to leave their turnout gear or bedding at the station. Our membership consists of an Administrative Chief, Chief of Department, Deputy Chief, Secretary/Treasurer, four Captains, four Lieutenants, and thirty-six firefighters. Duty Crews run from 6pm to 6am every night. Responses are made on medical calls, fire calls, and motor vehicle accidents.
